What is it and How it can help Me?

Psychotherapy involves talking about how the past influences the present in your behaviour and the choices you make. The word psychotherapy is used to describe a range of techniques, often called modalities or therapies. These techniques are used to help someone with emotional difficulties, mental health problems, addictions and some psychiatric disorders. This range of techniques are all aimed to help you understand more about yourself. For example, understanding why you do what you do, and why you make the choices you make. Overall psychotherapy will help you improve your relationships and get more out of life.
Psychotherapy is especially helpful for people with long-term or recurring problems. Not only does it help you find the cause of your difficulties. It also equips you to cope with difficult situations in a positive and constructive way.

HYPNOTHERAPY

What is it and How it can help Me?

Hypnotherapy is a therapy that uses hypnosis as a tool to essentially treat a number of different issues. These issues mainly fall into three categories; emotional difficulties, psychomatic disorders and behavioural and habitual difficulties. It can also be used in surgery, dentistry and life-coaching and goal-setting. Hypnotherapy can also be used in pain management and as a placebo such as in gastric band hypnotherapy.

Relationship counselling can often mean couples counselling, but it can also include all kinds of other relationships such as with family members, work colleagues, friends and so on. The aim of relationship counselling is to help recognise, and better manage or reconcile difficulties between those within the relationship.

Life coaching focuses you on exactly what you want to achieve and gets you to where you want to be faster. Many of us go through life being constantly busy doing all sorts of things, and hardly ever stop to consider what we want for our future. Seeing a Life Coach helps you to do just that. It’s taking some time out to look at your future and what you want to achieve.
In having me as your life coach, I will give you my 100% attention. I will be non-judgemental: I will listen, encourage, motivate and support you just when you need it. I will help to keep you focussed on your goals, and using my experience and expertise and help you identify choices and options that are available to you. Some of these you may have not even given thought to. My aim is to keep you moving in the direction of your goal much faster than you could on your own.

Counselling appointments Stowmarket Area are by appointment only. All appointments are at The Therapy Centre, Bacton, Stowmarket which has parking facilities.
